The Nune Field | Central Asia

This cross-cultural trip offers a unique opportunity to engage with local believers and experience life alongside a long-term team in Central Asia. Activities may include attending local fellowships, visiting a historically significant mountains and a museum, connecting with a tourism business and special needs center, and participating in a weekly prayer meeting.
The team will also engage in cultural experiences such as a mini-language learning session, visiting local parks and bazaars, and sharing a meal with a Muslim family. Time in the capital will include meeting leaders, visiting a student boarding house, and exploring the city.
This trip will have a large focus on relational ministry, cultural learning, and seeing God's hand at work in Central Asia.

This mission team will be working with a Christian, non-profit organization called Foundation Charis. Foundation Charis aims to care for the vulnerable in society, and help give opportunities for education and basic and loving human care in hopes to promote long-term change! The team will directly work with this organization, and complete projects with their team. This could be educational, medical, or even doing some construction work.
The team will also get to visit a foster care center, Finding Hope Ministries. They are a Christian mission dedicated to helping hurting people achieve spiritual, economic, and physical well-being.
There will be opportunities to participate in a church service, visit an Orthodox Church, go hiking, enjoy authentic Romania food, visit a salt mine, and experience other aspects of Romanian culture.
The estimated cost for this trip is $2,100.
